I feel it is important to plan for the best possible litters. I breed the best to the best and the health and happiest of the puppies are of the utmost importance to me. All my dogs have been tested for everything and any dog that I use for breeding that I do not own, does have his testing done as well.

Sometimes it takes time to get the right dogs together, with showing and other commitments, time constraints. But when it happens and  the babies are born, it is a very exciting event. Then watching, evaluating and seeing which of the puppies is the best choice to keep for showing and breeding. Then looking to see which ones would do best as a pet for a loving family. Some are laid back, yet others would do well in agility for an active family that want to share their lives and get into active doggy sports. It is fun to watch them grow and form their own little personalities.

This is a hobby for me, something that I enjoy now that my children have grown up and started their own families. I don't breed often, but when there is a plan for a litter, I put the dogs together that I think would be the best match to get the best puppies to go along the guidelines that the AKC has set out for the Miniature Poodle breed.
